Key Features of the GT Neo 3T

The Realme GT Neo 3T is pretty much identical to last year's Realme GT Neo 2 in terms of specifications, with the main difference being a quicker 80-watt charger. The Realme GT Neo 3 has a MediaTek CPU, while the Neo 3T has a Snapdragon 870 5G chipset, a new main camera, and a 150-watt charging option.

The GT Neo 3T may look kind of generic, but it looks stylish in frosted yellow with a checkered flag pattern. Plastic makes up the phone's curved back and frame, and it's a little bit heavier. Several competitors offer official ingress protection at this price, but not this phone.

In contrast to the GT Neo3, the 3T's 16-megapixel selfie camera is located in a corner rather than in the middle. The screen has a resolution of 1080p, a refresh rate of 120 Hz, and a 6.62-inch E4 AMOLED display. There's HDR10+ support, as well as the high contrast of an AMOLED panel.

With the manual slider, the device's brightness can reach about 515 nits. In auto mode, it goes up to 800 nits, which is bright enough to read under the sun.

The high refresh rate is a welcome addition for smooth swiping around on the screen, but just like on other Realme phones, there is no support for high frame rate gaming. To save power, the refresh rate can be reduced to 60 hertz when the device is idle. Under the screen, there is a fast and accurate fingerprint reader.

The Realme GT Neo3's dual speakers are loud and clear in terms of sound. The audio quality is also excellent, with crisp highs and distinct lows.

The phone's internal storage is fixed at 128 or 256 GB and cannot be increased. The Realme UI 3.0 is built on top of Android 12 to provide the GT Neo 3T's user interface, and it looks just like most other Android-based UIs. The majority of the changes made here are just aesthetic. There are also customising tools and settings that allow you to add your own personal touch.

The Realme UI also offers additional gameplay options, which can be accessed via an in-game overlay. These include screenshots, recordings, “do not disturb” signal, and performance profiles.

The Realme GT Neo 3T's chipset is one of its most appealing features. It's the high-end Snapdragon 875G seen in a slew of so-called flagship killer phones, including the GT Neo2 from last year.

This processor doesn't perform as well as the top flagships and is even outperformed by the Realme GT Neo3 and MediaTek Dimensity 8100, but it's still powerful enough for multitasking and gaming.

Furthermore, the phone boasts an innovative passive cooling system and good thermal management, which results in a steady, consistent performance. Compared to last year, the Realme GT Neo 3T has a 5000 mAh battery and a charging speed of 80 watts instead of 65 watts.

Next, we'll move on to the cameras. The GT Neo 3T sports a 64-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel ultrawide and a 2-megapixel macro camera. This is a typical mid-range configuration. The main camera of the Realme GT Neo 3T can record video in 4K at 60 fps. 4K footage is detailed, sharp, and lively.

The 1080p videos from the ultrawide camera have stronger contrast and more vibrant colours, but they're relatively soft and have a narrow dynamic range.
